Logging is an essential step in our business. We work with high-performance equipment and fell trees in accordance with the cycles of the rise and fall of their sap, especially hardwoods. Two felling techniques can be used: Chainsaw logging for trees with a large circumference (greater than 50 cm diameter) Harvesting with a special machine called a "harvester" for trees of lower circumferences of the trees and the land that lend themselves For trees near power lines or fences, we do the wiring and guide the tree during its fall. In case, you/your company has made or has the intention to sign a contract to buy wood products from a firm other than Afritimsu, we can provide you a with a Pre-shipment Inspection. The goods should be located in the following countries: CAMEROON, GABON, IVORY COAST, GHANA, CONGO DR or CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE. This service is implemented by Isbra Group . through third party company and it concerns ONLY wood/forest products. We do not inspect other products. We check shipment details, such as the price, quantity and quality of goods ordered overseas. The purpose is to safeguard national financial interests (prevention of capital flight and commercial fraud, as well as customs duty evasion, for instance) and to compensate for inadequacies in administrative infrastructures. We physically inspect goods to determine: if the goods exist, the quality and quantity of goods, an accurate classification of tariff codes, and an accurate valuation of goods for payable duties and taxes.
